• Metis has completed all of CoP missions and obtain Raja’s Ring! Shweet!
• Rim-Rim receives Rank 9 in San d’Oria!
• Zhael received Rank 8 in San d’Oria!
• Congratulation to Miss Xaini for reaching level 75 THF! yayyyyy! :D
• Metis leveled his BLM up to 46, and his SAM up to 20. Great Job!
• Mysti so far leveled her SMN to 58! Way to go!
• Mrs. Cristy leveled her WHM to 60, and has leveled her RDM to 70 (again!). Get to 75 already! XD
• Arispici again, dings another job to 75 (Warrior)!

• Zhael leveled her Bard to 65 & finally obtains her Minstrel Coat.
• Yurie levels her BLM up to 38!
• Both Arispici & Metis both murders Charybdis and steals the Joyeuse from him. Good job you criminals! ; ;
• Hawkins levels his BLM to 14, DRG to 22, and his RNG to 43! Woohoo!
• Cristy defeats Fenrir and now has the ability to summon the purpleu wulfie!
• Zhael beats Diabolos Prime & now has the ability to summon him!
• Azekah completes the Dragoon Quest! Congrats to you and your new wyvern buddy!
• Hawkins worked his woodworking to level 60!
• Digi builds up her goldsmithing to level 26!
• Kourin levels his WHM to 8!
• Rikkana beats the Crystal Warriors in ZM14 - Divine Might.
• Digi receives her new Raw Fish Handling to make sushi!
• Aishia (Rikk’s mule) completes “Fist of Fury” Quest, and receives her Brown Belt!

I (Metis) Got Paladin job unlocked and have leveled it to 22! Woo Paladin Power!
Team RC (Myself, Allia, Arispici, Cristy, Casimir, Mysti, Taruzell and Deston) Have recently been taking on the Prime Avatars! With great results!
Titan, Garuda and Shiva all defeated so far, who will be next!?
Cristy Got her Red Mage Testimony, so watch out Maat.
Sad news, Her Chocobo CrystalJoyeuse Retired to the chocobo stables :( We hope you raise another one!
Mears, Deston, Dazor and Myself have been toppling the Chains of Promathia missions, Not far till Sea now guys, Way to go!
Dazor obtained his YinYang robe after a long wait! Congratulations ^^

I, changed my nation to Windurst! /cheer I can now live with Cristy! *also closer to the bonecraft guild* :D

Recent Linkshell excitments have involved:

• A big /welcome for our newest members Duncann and Allia :D
• Rubian has set himself some great crafting goals and is well on his way to achieving them as he hits cooking32 ^^
• Zhael got lvl75 (yay yay!) and levelled her Ninja up to 37 (and beyond :o) =^.^=  She has now completed NIN AF1 and is working on WAR AF1
• Mears is also working on lvling Ninja (currently up to 32^^) and he cheated and lvled his warrior up 4 levels using only exp scrolls >.< ;
• Cristy has been working hard on her Summoner and recently won her SMN af legs =^.^= looking spiffy!
  
  She also has her Austure gear and Carbuncle Mitts! =^.^=
• Tarsonis is finally a lvl41 rdm and, woot, a refresh whore xD
• Dazor has made it not only to smn75 but also to drk66 and is showing off his new and flashy Spinning Slash :D
• Casimir won his Maat fight (at lvl66 whm!) but is apparently disappointed he didn’t manage to kill the old dude (o.o) whm power^^
• Zhael and Casimir also worked together to get Sandy Rank7 - congrats!
• Metis won ZM17 (:o) and there has also been lots of progress in Dynamis; Cristy and Metis defeated Bastok^^
• Cristy finally bought the ToAU expansion pack! Finally she might see some exp xD  Her new baby chocobo is named CrystalJoyeuse
• Mears is up to mission18-ish of said ToAU ^^
• Nimicron has been out and about experimenting with Samurai and Red Mage^^

This Saturday we will be holding a ZM4 run. It’s an ideal oppertunity for many of our members to begin there long journey to obtaining Sky access!

 Further information about this event and also where to sign up can be found in the linkshell forums under the section ‘Organised Events’.

 As well as members who have not yet completed ZM4, we would much appreciate players who have already completed the mission to help us out :)

• Digi got her Rank5 and her most precious and useful Airship Pass as a result!  She also got all the way up to lvl30 finally and unlocked Samurai :D
• Brants spent some silly gil on a Byrnie - mmMmmm all that orange orange goodness.
• Tarsonis gave birth to a new little feathery chocobo called Wing Zero.  It was a strange sight.  He also attained Rank4!
• Brants’ new little friend is named Princess Perfect =^.^=
• Kuyon finally got his NPC friend!
• Metis has had a long busy time, getting sky access, beating maat (yay!) and getting rank7!  He is also up to lvl60 bonecrafting and lvl71 rdm =^.^=
• Mears is Mr. Achievement of the month, with sky access, lvl75 bst, rank10, Decimation Axe WS AND getting his optical hat. :o  Not to mention lvl60 alchemy >.>;
• Cristy (who finally figured out how to work the forum XD) completed promy missions 2-3 and 2-4, as well as getting her Summoner up to lvl45^^ She also got cooking up to lvl61!  Get your Yag Drinks here!
• Congratulations to Zhael who beat Maat a little while ago, and has completed Dynamis-Bastok and all sorts of missions inbetween :o
• Hawkins is all the way up to lvl48 Woodworking^^ Way to go!
• Tarsonis has also recently pulled a string of all nighters in his leveling frenzy XD

Okay guys, the ballista is booked! */hurray*

The match begins at 8PM GMT (3PM EST) and we have 2 hours in the zone.

In order to get into the ballista zone, you will need a page from the book I recieved when booking the zone, therefore I would like all members wishing to participate to meet in Ru’lude Gardens at 7PM GMT so that the items can be distributed and also, anyone without a new pearl may collect one from either Casimir or any of the sackholders. ^^

The level cap is set to 75 so that people don’t have to struggle to find the correct equipment for a level cap. We’re able to form the teams once inside the zone which means we can try to make an {Even Match}. (Although I guess we’ll probably end up 1v1′ing each other :P)

By demoncratic voting (go go democracy!) the Linkshell has elected Casimir as new Shellholder, and the new Linkshell name to be “Rising Constellation” -retaining the old initials of “RC” ^^.  Various things around the site will be changing as a result, including, in the near future, the URL.

Hey guys! As many of you know a lot has happend in RandomComic over the past couple of months, new leader, members leaving, loads of ‘Dings’ and lots more stuff too.

 Firstly I’d like to say {Congratulations} to all of you for the hard work that you’ve been putting in recently ^.^  Big congrats go to:

• Dazor for obtaining full Dark Knight AF and reching level 60 so he can wear it all. Also he quested Blue Mage AF1, Completed CoP mission 4.2 :O, bought a Hauby, Scorpion Harness, a Chivorious Chain and Vassago’s Scythe.. But better than all of that, his baby chocobo called Frosty Spark hatched!
• Tarsonis for unlocking the jobs Samurai, Summoner, Ninja and Beastmaster! He also completed an Eco-Warrior mission and aquired a part of Elvaan RSE - Magna Gauntlets :D
• Zhael for completing Genkai 4! Getting a Hauberk (*steals*) Completing CoP mission 2.5 AND also a succesful Dynamis Bastok run.
• Nimicron for unlocking the TP master job, Samurai… I really should get that sometime :S
• Metis for completing CoP 2.3 and another succesful Dynamis Bastok run!
• Digi for completing the Ninja flag quest and also questing enough fame in Norg to be able to begin the infamous Utsusemi: Ichi quest :D

A massive {Congratulations} to all of the ‘Ding’s! that there have been recently, I would list them all separately but there have been so many that it would fill the front page, so instead i’ve only listed items posted in the Linkshell Achievements Ding Thread :D In future I promise that the list will be updated regularly so that those new levels can be included along with stuff from other parts of the forum:)

Sadly our Linkshell has lost a few members recently. Threed our former Shellholder sadly left the game ; ; /salute. But also Yawa (Fearless Paladin, Sackholder, Freind, leader..) left along with Mears (Uber-1337 Beastmaster and Paladin - Good freind to all) at the end of August. More recently Tigerlily, Gundamcloudand Tagliobo also have gone. /farewell you guys.. Oh, KEEP IN TOUCH ON THE FORUM! :P

 As well as people leaving, RC has had a couple of new ‘feathered-friends’ join. Namely, Frosty Spark and Jade Vega! These two chocobo’s are proudly owned by Dazor and Digi and i’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot about them in the not too distant future :P

 As Threed left the game, we RandomComic’ers were forced to elect as new Shellholder for the linkshell (also a new linkshell name and colour - poll currently running). A poll was constructed with the candidates whilst RC members voted like crazy! After 1 week, votes showed that Casimir will be our new {insert new linkshell name here}Shellholder! {Good Job!}

 I’m 100% sure i’ve missed loads out and i’m sorry if you didn’t get congratulated when you should have!

Hiya folks! 

Well, the time as come for me to move on from FFXI.  I’m really heartbroken about doing this, but I’ve got to move on in the real world.  I can no longer afford playing the game, do not have the time to play for more than 4 hours for parties, and have, well, lost interest in the game. 

The real thing that gets me is not the game, but my very good friends of Random Comic.  I created this link shell a long, long time ago for individuals to come together, socialize, and become friends.  I truly believe I’ve succeeded in my goal as leader of Random Comic.  In addition to my retirement, I want everyone to band together and make a new link shell.  I will not destroy Random Comic, but I advice everyone to still stay together in some way or form.  The shell holder shall be up to the members, not me.  I’m done with FFXI and only wish to leave with any “The Random Comic” reference I had.  

 As for Skyo, if he wants to keep the website, that’s fine. I would like someone else to make a website for the new shell. If Yawa and Skyo plan to not play FFXI, then I advise them to shut it down.  There’s no point to holding on to something they lost connections to. 

One thing I do ask is to please keep in touch, especially my pearl bag holders.  I’ll be sending messages via POL of my retirement when deactivate my account.  It has truly been a wonderful two years with everyone and I enjoyed everyone’s company, friendship, and commitment to each other.  Making a link shell like this was my time and I feel confident I can leave in satisfaction.  Please give me an e-mail every so often! I’ve been checking my e-mail a lot, so I’ll bound to get your messages! 

From here on in, the future of the new link shell is up to the members. Unfortunately, I do not have the time or energy to help form a new one.  It’s up to everyone to keep this friendship of a link shell together.
