(If you look in the background you can see Mears in his most sexy subligar. Taruzell and I attempted to blackmail him out of 100k for the other (really bad) screenie I have. He didn’t take us seriously ._. and now I can’t post it XD It’s just TOO MEAN! plus it might shatter your monitors ^.~)

Dazor also went on today to get his rank 5 and airship pass :D A long mission, but well deserved reward ^^ Congratulations Daz!

Baltor unlocked his Samurai Advanced Job! With just a little help from our own little-samurai Taruzell, the white-magic-murder Casimir, and big-daddy-paladin Mears

Summoner Artifact 2

With Dazor (DSL - dedicated smn leveller - more than 10 times the speed of dialup) being the unstoppable-leveler as ever (52 already!) it was af2 NM time :D

Mears, Yawa and non-ls-members Arcannix (no, not Arcanux), Sykosis and Fenrir, all came to help ^^

The fight was with 6 really really cute little saplings ; ; They all got sleepgaed, some woke, the 2 paladins tried to keep the attention of all, but it was nigh impossible with our 75blm and 60?ish mnk friends in our ears ^.~ Fenrir seemed to be having a good deal of fun in his little doggy way, chasing them all around. I even thought I saw him wag his tail.

This evening, to help Brants, several RC members gathered on the Bubu beaches to kill leeches for the Carbuncle Ruby - a ruby required for the smn advanced job quest.

Not only did we get Brants his ruby…… but we got Casimir’s as well! and even went on to get mine! o.O; (except i didn’t have any inventory space and lost it >.< i'm destined not to be a smn lol)

In 2hrs we got 3 rubies ~ not bad going at all!

The team was Brants (30war/mnk) Casimir (43whm/thf) Mears (59pld/war) Mordrid (71drg/thf) and Yawa (56pld/thf)
We also farmed a whole bunch of silk threed, a ton of fiend blood, and a years supply of rock salt. And we had some crazy fun doing it too ~ even more fun was perhaps our attempts to pose for a screenie. Fully 5 minutes of total /em hardcore action.
We sucked.

But I hope this one is satisfactory ^^

At the request of threed I have made the following changes (as if you can’t see for yourself XD)

1) Splash page :D this isn’t really necessary, it just makes my life easier.
2) New WordPress Theme for the updates page! Thought it was about time we bought it the good old RC colours ^.~
3) The banner at the top of the page is no longer in a frame and will hopefully be more astectically pleasing to those of you with smaller screen resolutions, as well as making reading the news more convieniant.

Problems
1) External Links are now further down the page and harder to find ~ i’ll be editing the theme soon to change this.
2) >O the comments system still does not work and i have NO IDEA why ._.

Current Jobs
1) Making member pictures for the members page… still. Avatarofpower is at the top of the list :D
2) I have a phpBB forum install and ready to go, it just needs to be customised, and then the link will appear on the right hand side somewhere ~ so you can satisfy your ffxi cravings while at school.
3) gil farming? heh ._.
4) Guides ~ {Do you have it?} if you have experience in a particular job/mini game/mission/craft/anything ~ write a guide about it so that our RC members can have their own self-composed allahazam right here :D

From Brants and Dazor

:D The most amazing news reached me today admid the turmoil that was our LS Garrison ~ Dazor has successfully defeated and obtained the avatar Fenrir!

this is an absolutely amazing feat to have achieved ~ {Congratulations} just doesn’t cut it. I am seriously in awe. WOW.

{Congratulations!} and many {/hurray}s go to Dazor who yesterday completed the last of his avatar prime fights, and has successfully complied all his whispers required to face {Fenrir}!

To give you some idea of the enormity of the Fenrir Battle (and to give you a *lot* of respect for the smns who have him) here is some enlightning information about Fenrir Prime Battle:

1) A common stragedy is a party of 5 lvl70+smns, and a blink tank (e.g. nin)
2) But he can also be defeated by a full 74-75 party
3) Fenrir’s 2hr ability “Howling Moon” is an /aoe/ attack of approximately 800-900 damage (ouch?)
4) Fenrir’s normal physical attack will one shot any taru mages
5) His dispelga move (which he likes to spam a lot) will remove all positive status effects, including food!

At Brant’s suggestion, this Saturday evening saw RC go Ballista Crazy!
Unfortunatly Brants, Theoz, Threed and Mears (welcome to the shell!) were unable to get their quests done in time for the start of “Round One” ~ only Dazor and Yawa competed in the Bastok Vs San d’Oria match in Jugner Forest.
Later however most of the online RC members gathered in Pashhow Marshlands….

Participates included Threed (war/mnk), Theoz (blm/whm), Gundamcloud(brd/rdm), Dazor(smn/whm), Brants(war/mnk), Yawa(pld/nin)

The RC team was split in two, some competing for Windurst, others for Bastok.

The final result was a severe defeat for Windy (whether this was related to 4 of us being on the team ~ I dunno :P)
But fighting, confusion, death and good times were had by all ^^ And Congratulations go to Gundamcloud who was RC’s Unofficial player of the game, due to his goddamn relentless sleeping everyone in sight >.< ...

Here’s hoping that in future matches even more RC participants will join in, and bring about even greater defeats and disasters for their countries XD
