Hiya folks!
Well, the time as come for me to move on from FFXI. I’m really heartbroken about doing this, but I’ve got to move on in the real world. I can no longer afford playing the game, do not have the time to play for more than 4 hours for parties, and have, well, lost interest in the game.
The real thing that gets me is not the game, but my very good friends of Random Comic. I created this link shell a long, long time ago for individuals to come together, socialize, and become friends. I truly believe I’ve succeeded in my goal as leader of Random Comic. In addition to my retirement, I want everyone to band together and make a new link shell. I will not destroy Random Comic, but I advice everyone to still stay together in some way or form. The shell holder shall be up to the members, not me. I’m done with FFXI and only wish to leave with any “The Random Comic” reference I had.
As for Skyo, if he wants to keep the website, that’s fine. I would like someone else to make a website for the new shell. If Yawa and Skyo plan to not play FFXI, then I advise them to shut it down. There’s no point to holding on to something they lost connections to.
One thing I do ask is to please keep in touch, especially my pearl bag holders. I’ll be sending messages via POL of my retirement when deactivate my account. It has truly been a wonderful two years with everyone and I enjoyed everyone’s company, friendship, and commitment to each other. Making a link shell like this was my time and I feel confident I can leave in satisfaction. Please give me an e-mail every so often! I’ve been checking my e-mail a lot, so I’ll bound to get your messages!
From here on in, the future of the new link shell is up to the members. Unfortunately, I do not have the time or energy to help form a new one. It’s up to everyone to keep this friendship of a link shell together.
