Hiya folks! 

Well, the time as come for me to move on from FFXI.  I’m really heartbroken about doing this, but I’ve got to move on in the real world.  I can no longer afford playing the game, do not have the time to play for more than 4 hours for parties, and have, well, lost interest in the game. 

The real thing that gets me is not the game, but my very good friends of Random Comic.  I created this link shell a long, long time ago for individuals to come together, socialize, and become friends.  I truly believe I’ve succeeded in my goal as leader of Random Comic.  In addition to my retirement, I want everyone to band together and make a new link shell.  I will not destroy Random Comic, but I advice everyone to still stay together in some way or form.  The shell holder shall be up to the members, not me.  I’m done with FFXI and only wish to leave with any “The Random Comic” reference I had.  

 As for Skyo, if he wants to keep the website, that’s fine. I would like someone else to make a website for the new shell. If Yawa and Skyo plan to not play FFXI, then I advise them to shut it down.  There’s no point to holding on to something they lost connections to. 

One thing I do ask is to please keep in touch, especially my pearl bag holders.  I’ll be sending messages via POL of my retirement when deactivate my account.  It has truly been a wonderful two years with everyone and I enjoyed everyone’s company, friendship, and commitment to each other.  Making a link shell like this was my time and I feel confident I can leave in satisfaction.  Please give me an e-mail every so often! I’ve been checking my e-mail a lot, so I’ll bound to get your messages! 

From here on in, the future of the new link shell is up to the members. Unfortunately, I do not have the time or energy to help form a new one.  It’s up to everyone to keep this friendship of a link shell together.

Threed, War X, and Joseph.

Hello! Seeing as Yawa is away at the moment I thought i’d make a post to keep the site updated for you ^^

 Metis, Myself (brants), Taruzell and Silversonic travelled to Garlaige Citadel in search of the coffer chest containing my AF Coronet. We were eventually succesful after the heroic Taruzell sacrificed his own life (and vast amounts of exp) 11 times to save us all from the big-mean mobs that we repeatedly aggro’d!

Metis also was an invaluable help to us, providing firepower and also an extra bod to sit on the switches :P I’d just like to say a huge thank you for all the help!

Summer is finally here -and rather than getting out into the sunshine (makes me sick just thinking about all that fresh air >< ) the LS is looking forward to the FFXI sunbreeze festival :D

• Yawa (pld) and Mears (bst) both defeated Maat (although I beat him first time time, because I’m just more 1337 XD) and have lvled up to 71.  Quested WSs ftw!  (Yawa’s Maat Video)
• Metis has become ones of the richest guys in the LS after spending a substantial amount of time mining some weird stuff called “limiunium ores” o.O;  He bought an Ocean Stone to celebrate his ships coming in, but is now trying to sell it as he discovers that  money bags are not bottomless after all :P
• Zhael, Metis and Tafew have all completed that horrible solo quest with the stupid true sight NMs, G3!  Congrats guys - next stop, lvl 65!
• Yawa defeated Leviathan to obtain her 3rd avatar, and lvled smn up to lvl7 with the help of Taruzell’s Puppetmaster in the world’s cutest party!
  
• Zhael completed Promy-Mea =^.^= supposidly the hardest of the 3 :o
• Zhael and Dazor also enlisted some help and went out to obtain their Dark Knight AF3 Head!  It was a very (very) close fight, but there were no deaths, and was a great success!
  
  Further congrats on getting your Hauby Zhael!
• Metis has also reached lvl 60 rdm and with a little help from his friends (and some other random people XD) got his final AF piece, his pimp hat!

• Arispici (drk), Yawa(nin) and Zhael(nin) had a bit of a mini-RC-dunes party (Thanks to Casimir, Metis and Mears for PLing us on a rotational basis XD) I think I can safely say we astonished all the newbs we were pting with with our strong LS friendships :)
• Happy Birthday to Threed and Yaw who both had birthdays last week^^ Thanks for your kind wishes everyone <3

• Metis has his rdm AF hands and feet!

• Mears got Beastmaster up to 65 :o
• Mears also dueted a little bunny NM called Unut.  Come on now, he’s just a little bunny, how hard can he be?
• Dazor has lvled Dark Knight to 50!!
• Brants has reached lvl55 Paladin ^^
• Zhael has lvled her thf to 29, and her nin to 18 (solo!) wootozors!  Subjob-leveling ftw!
• Arispici got his Goldsmithing Shades - too l33t!
• Arispici got his nin af1 completed too^^
• Hawkins and Baltor completed the magicite missions and are now rank5!
• Zhael defeated the Shadow Lord and obtained Rank6!
• Yawa got the staff weapon skill {Spirit Taker} and defeated Ramuh (not at the same time) =^.^=
• Pantherball kicked Maat’s butt and is now lvl70 warrior AND a Maat Masher
• Taruzell stole a billion goldbeastcoins after he joined our test/key/skill party in Beadeaux… as a 36sam o.O  XD {All right!}
• Galbatorix got all his Kazham Keys!
• Deston got lvl73 Bard and (zomg) Chocobo Mazuka :o

Congratulations to everyone once again, I can’t describe how proud I am of you all, and all your hard work and progress makes me :DDDDD

• Mears reached lvl60 bst! :O congrats!! He now looks like a sheep :)

• RedDwarf completed a truck-load of missions, including 2-3 with just a little help from RC in ye-ole-sandoria

Well done everyone for all their hard work since the last update! Everyone is doing a great job progressing through their lvls and missions, I’m very proud of you all! :D

• Mysti and Brants completed the diffcult and annoying G1! Go Go Horizon Breakers!
• Zamia Dazor Yawa and Mears all completed ZM5 with help from the ever generous Pause^^
• Hawkins obtained Rank4 after a long jog through Delfukt’s Tower
• Tafew and Metis also obtained rank4… but that was agggges ago
• Hawkins also completed his first Promy - Mea!
• Tarsonis and his friend got safely to Jeuno with the help of Nimicron (the story is told in pictures in our forum!) and he obtained the coverted… CHOCOBO LICENCE! Congratulations!
• Reddwalf completed Mission 2-3 with help from the RC team (apparently Mysti 2hred and soloed it :P)
• Tarsonis also completed Sandoria Mission 2-3 which ended with a big RC showdown against the Bastok Dragon!

Well done for taking that Dragon down in a fraction of time Mears Brants Cristy Hawkins Tarsonis and Yawa! (and CC too >.> < .<) Rc Power :D

The New Expansion Pack has been Released Finally!
RC members have been running all over the globe talking about weird places and strange sites and.. new jobs! Congratulations to everyone who has unlocked some or all of the new advanced jobs ~ Blue Mage, Puppetmaster and Cosair! And well done for your lvling efforts =^.^=

Perhaps we’ll all be participating in Beseiged soon!

• Clesel and Mordrid have been spotted! After a break from the game for schoolwork Mordrid and his mini-alter-ego Clesel are home in Vana’diel, welcome back!
• Due to health related issues our fearless and daring leader Threed will be taking a short break from the game while he recovers his health ; ; everyone in RC wishes him a very hardy “Get well soon, Jawbreaker!”
